The Butterfly Estates is located in Fort Myers of Southwest Florida, U.S.A. We are a company excited about changing the negative impact that humans have on the environment into positive changes. It is our goal to give the public the environmental awareness necessary to reverse the detrimental impacts of humans into viable earth friendly solutions that also create positive economic growth. The Earth’s smallest creatures, like Butterflies, are the most fragile and are often the first to exhibit the first warning signs of an unhealthy environment.
It has become apparent that the earth’s natural environment has become unstable. The human race has made critical decisions in the past that has directly affected the lives of everyone alive today and all future generations to come after. The destruction of the Florida Everglades, Rain Forests in South America and burning of fossil fuels have all contributed to the destruction of our planet. These decisions by people, along with hundreds of our past and present failures to protect our home planet, are only now being felt by human communities around the globe. In stark contrast, the animals of the Earth have been devastated by our decimation of their habitats.
Many scientists have attempted to warn the public of the potential impact of global warming in the past. These warnings have, for the most part, fallen on deaf ears to leaders of countries worldwide. The United States is considered the economic leader of the world. Currently, the U.S.A. contributes five times more pollution into the environment than any other country in the world. Our powerful influence to all nations will determine the success or failure of our natural surroundings. In the next decade people will both witness a public rebound from our poor habits and embrace sound principles to protect the Earth or fail and continue to destroy the one planet that allows us to survive as a race.
It has only been the extreme weather conditions that have elevated in recent years have forced the public to take a closer look at those scientists’ warnings. Tsunamis in the South Pacific, multiple hurricanes across the southern hemisphere, powerful earth quakes, tornados, melting polar ice caps and extreme drought conditions have in some way negatively affected every person alive today. The question is can a nation built on the use of fossil fuels for an economic advantage alter the way its citizens live and work to create a cleaner environment and continue to lead the world economically.
The future of our race and the Earth’s animals big and small depend on the decisions we make today! It will take dedication of everyone to change human’s destructive habits and save our planet.
We have taken this opportunity to add some of our favorite organizations that will help you take a look at what you may do to reduce pollution and start protecting the earth for future generations.
